With help of Manish and Kiran, we did the test for borewell recharge at the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Kothimbe

  1. Using rope measured water level, 20 feet below ground.

  2. We filled the borewell upto the top surface mark with big pipe from well (motor), until overflow for a while.

  3. It took the whole water slowly and again reached the initial water level of 20 feet.

  4. This states that borewell is live and is candidate for recharge.
